Cute As a Bug!

If you want something a little different but a bit cute, then this set is perfect.

I wasn't sure what I was going to make with it when I bought it but after seeing all the fun cards being made with it, it was easy to sit and have some fun.

One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! coordinating products is that some of the dies from the die set will coordinate and cut out some of the images on the DSP, meaning the front of this card has no stamping, its all paper!

I used a larger piece of the the dsp for the background to suggest the bugs were deep in the grass.

Then I die cut out some bugs from the dsp and used some coordinating cardstock, one of which is Cajun Craze which I hardly ever use, for the Toadstools.

A few little die cut flowers randomly placed here and there for decoration and then finished off with an epoxy Lady Bug embellishment on one of the toadstools. I used a Daffodil Delight Blend to colour the clear embellishments in the centres of the flowers.

I deliberately left the sentiment off the front and decided to be different and stamp it on the inside, so as not to take away from the scene on the front.

I'm really happy with this card and I would be more than pleased sending this to a friend for their birthday, just to put a smile on their face.

Thanks for stoppping by to check out my card today.

All items used to make this card features below and all items are available for purchase from my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
