Lovely & Beautiful

My monthly card challenge for my team in December was an Easel card.

Easel cards are by no means new, they have been around for quite some time, however I hadn't made one in a long time so I challenged the team to make one with new products.

The easiest way to make an Easel card is to firstly cut the card base as a standard tent fold, then score one of the panels which will be the foldable front panel, in half, allowing it to fold  and stand up.

I decided to use some newly released products so I chose the Lovely & Beautiful specialty dsp which is so pretty.

It was easy to choose coordinating cardstock colours to go with the papers, the hardest decision was deciding which side of the dsp to use!

The sentiment came from the Lovely Arrangements bundle and was deliberately die cut and strategically placed so it created an edge for the front standing panel to lean up against, creating the easel.

I really enjoyed making this card and its reminded me I need to make more of these.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.

All items used to make this card features below and are available for purchase from my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
