Greenery Lane Washi

Did you know I LOVE Washi Tape?

Well I'm a huge Stationery lover and when I discovered Washi many years back, it was love at first sight.

I mean who wouldn't love decorative sticky tape?

So Stampin' Up! have been selling Washi here and there over the years, so of course it gets added to cart.

What's brilliant about the tape Stampin' Up! sells is that the last two released have coordinating dies!

How clever is that!

However, I did discover one glitch with this tape......

Unlike the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, where the coordinating die is one big die that cuts out all the floral patterns in one sheet all at the same time, the die for the Greenery Lane Washi has a few seperate pieces, so you can cut them all out at the same time but they are seperate pieces and not all the images on the tape have dies.

So to save a lot of time fiddling around with cutting out as many seperate pieces as I could, I decided the best way to use the tape was more for a background piece. This way it uses more of the sheet of washi. Then you can just add a few extra die cut pieces for layering over the top like I have done.

By using the Washi sheet as a whole background piece, you really don't need many more products to finish off this card which means, less products needed. A whole roll of this Washi tape will yield you MANY cards.

I really like the soft look of this and I'm happy with this card.

This would also make a beautiful Thinking of You or Sympathy card.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.
All items used to make this card features below and items are available for purchase from my online store.

Until next time
Happy Stamping!!!
