Brushed With Beauty Suite

This card is actually a sample and featured in the online store with the Brushed With Beauty DSP.

So I decided to CASE it straight from Stampin' Up!

I chose several colours to use for this card and not colours I would have thought go well together. However I think they look fab!

I would classify this card as an "Avid" level card. Not one I would try if I were a beginner as it has many levels and a mix of everything.

I'm a sucker for a word die so I was attracted to this bundle in the Online Exclusives.

One thing Stampin' Up! is genius at is coordination and this suite is no exception.

Apart from the embellishments, I've used every other product in the suite.

Starting with the Embossing on Vellum for a layer in the background, just for a bit of interest.

Then the card is all about the flowers. The flower stamps are 2 step, giving the light and dark contrasting shades in the images.

I wanted to offset all this colour with a stark colour so I chose Pecan Pie on Basic Beige which I think compliments the flowers beautifully.

Of course the word die cuts can be a bit trucky so it's always best to adhere a piece of double sided sticky paper to the back of the cardstock you are cutting the word die out of, essentially making it a sticker. This makes it easier to stick to the shadow die cut piece.

I'm really happy with this card and I absolutely love this suite.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.

All items used to make this card features below and all items are available for purchase from my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
