One of my other fave products is undoubtedly Washi Tape.
I used to think it was just fancy sticky tape however Washi actually has an interesting history.
The term "Washi" comes from the words "Japanese Paper" and Washi Tape first originated in Japan from a Masking Tape company named Kamoi Kakoshi.
I've been a lover of it for years and I have a large box filled with decorative Washi in my craft room. Because it's a decorative paper, I can't help myself.
So when Stampin' Up! released this Washi Tape roll recently in their latest Annual Catalogue, I got a bit excited. However then I discovered there is also a coordinating die as well which is a game changer! Now I can get even more from my Washi Tape projects.
So on this card I've demonstrated how you can use it in two ways.
The background is the full sheet stuck to a layer with the Arches Die cut layer layered over the top on dimensionals. This shows alot more of the design on the tape. Its like peaking through a window.
Then I've die cut some of the flowers on the roll with the matching dies and used the die cut pieces to decorate the front panel.
For some added interest and just to break up the continuity of white, I used the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder to decorate the bottom half of the front panel.
I'm really happy with this card, it didn't take much work at all and because there is so much design on the Washi Tape roll, you could make several cards at once. The Washi Tape does all the work so the card doesn't really need much else.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card for today.
All items used to make this card features below and all items are available for purchase from my online store.
Until next time
Happy Stamping!
