Its always difficult when we have to say goodbye to loved ones.....especially if they are our pets.
Recently a fellow Crazy Crafter Kate and her family said goodbye to their gorgeous dog. I don't know too much about the story, but it broke my heart when I saw Kates post as I had been through this myself last November when I had to farewell my beloved little man Jackson.
So, to offer some comfort and let them know I was thinking of them all, I made the family this
Whilst I love making cards, these sort are just simply difficult.
Although after making these it made me realise I needed to make a batch of dog and cat cards to donate to my local vets, for them to send to clients who have lost an animal.
For this card I used the Bella and Friends set, stamped the image in Momento Black so I could use the Blends to colour. I used Cherry Cobbler for the Balloon, Crumb Cake for the body and Night of Navy for his collar.
The clouds were die cut using a cloud die from the Up and Away Thinlits Dies and cut in Sparkle Glimmer paper to reflect his trip to Rainbow Bridge.
