Not long ago, I was in a bit of a "funk".....lost my mojo....just disappeared.
It seemed there for a while that I had lost all interest altogether and the desire to make something had just left me.
Some of the gorgeous girls that belong to the same team simply weren't having it and suggested a way to get me out of this funk was to make them something. Anything. They just wanted to give me a reason to create and make something to send to them.
So the first person was a gorgeous lady named Jessie.
I really enjoyed making this card for Jess. I was inspired by some gift wrapping I saw in a post for a stationery store here in Australia called Kikki K.
The color combo just jumped out at me and I knew I could recreate the same look and transfer to a card.
Cue the Daisy punch! I just love Daisies and my team is aptly named the Hello Daysies! I also loved creating the pattern for the background on this card. All stamped in Versamark, covered with white and copper embossing powders and then heat set. Add a bit of ribbon, a few leaves with the Leaf Punch, a sentiment and a gold faceted gem and VOILA!!! I just LOVE this card.
