Welcome to our team Blog Hop where we get to share with you our Stampin Up South Pacific Convention experience.
WOW...WOW...WOW!!
I had never been to a Stampin Up Convention before so I had no idea what to expect. It was all so overwhelming. I was so lucky to be able to attend my first convention here at home on the Gold Coast and I was also able to attend the Managers Day and Managers Reception as I advanced to Manager level last year. The event was held between the 29th April to 2nd May 2015.
On Wednesday, the Managers day, I finally got to meet my upline or as I prefer to call her my mentor Kylie Bertucci for the first time. As well as two other Managers from our team. Kate Benade and Petra Tailor.
Here is Kylie and I waiting in line to check in to get our awesome Convention Bag, Tag and Program. We also had goodies inside the bag as well.
Then after some in depth Managers training during the afternoon, we all got to hop on a bus for the Australian Outback Spectacular show. This was simply amazing. Here is me "modelling" the sign! (as you do!)
Two fine looking cowgirls! You get the hats upon arrival as part of the show.
One of the stars of the show "Sunny"
I also had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Sarah Douglas who is Shelli Gardners daughter and interim CEO of Stampin Up while Shelli is away.
After an amazing night we boarded the bus and as we lined up for the buses we got another stamp set!
This one will be in the new catalogue!
The next two days are an absolute blur, however, the only part I seem to remember really well is when they released the new Annual catalogue! Excited much?
There is a pack of the new Bohemian DSP in there, another Stamp Set called I Think You're Great, two Fast Fuse Adhesives and a Punch and Twine pack. Plus we also got a Momento Ink Pad. That cute stamp set is also new and will be in the catalogue . This came in our Convention bags. Spoilt much?
Here is something you may find interesting....this is Stampin Ups current demo count for Australia and New Zealand. You can see how popular they really are.
All good things must come to an end. Unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes but before we did, we took the opportunity to grab a Crazy Crafters team photo. Cant wipe the smiles off our faces. It was a jam packed fun filled 4 days and worth every minute.
Thank you for letting me share my Stampin Up Convention experience with you. There were so many others photos but I just couldn't fit them all in. I hope I am lucky to attend another in the future. Why don't you come join us!
Be sure to head on over to see Angela Lorenz next!
