Hello Day Cards: Torn Paper Monthly Card Challenge

For my Monthly Card Challenge this month, I encouraged my team to try the Torn Paper Technique.

By no means a new technique but its so easy to achieve, its fun, a great way to use some dsp and cardstock and looks great.

So I decided to go with something different and create a Christmas card using a smattering of different products

This card was made completely around the Die Cut element from the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Pack.

I chose the cute little deer first and then worked out the colour combo, chose the dsp and cardstock and worked out the sentiment last. I was also eager to use my Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies for the first time, particularly in Copper and thought the sentiment would look lovely on a darker colour.

The image stamped on the lighter cardstock is from the Simply Leaves stamp set. I chose to place my dsp as a layer behind the torn parts on the card but you could always switch it around and use dsp for the torn parts and stamp your images on the background layer.

I quite like this card as it's different and it was fun to make.
