Hello Day Cards: Blue for Christmas

I'm a big fan of non traditional colours for Christmas.

Having said that, I still don't mind the popular go-to colours like Reds and Greens with silver or gold.

But for some reason, I am very drawn to soft blues for the festive season.

So when I saw this in a Demonstrator facebook group, I fell in love and set about creating my version.

This card is CASEd from demo Bree Kathleen.

I didn't quite get the blue combination right but I'm still happy with it.

I decided this Christmas I just needed one good Christmas Bundle, so I chose the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle.

That flower is so detailed and can be used in conjunction with the Impressions Plate for even more detail on those leaves.

Then I had to pair it with a foiled Christmas sentiment using a new bundle from the latest hot foil products release. Its just a set of sentiments that you can foil all at once, die cut them out all in one go and you're left with a variety of different sentiments. I chose the larger sentiment to fill the space at the top of the card.

The Softly Woven Embossing Folder would have to be one of my faves at the minute, purely because of its versatility as a soft background layer. It compliments the Poinsettia nicely.

I really love this card and I look forward to sending it on its way this holiday season.
