Thankful Garden

Goodness me....this card has a bit of a story!

I'll try and keep it short but I had to re-do this card!

This card started as a CASE of a stunning card made by Emma Goddard - of Coastal Crafter in the U.K.

So when I first looked at the floral image, I assumed it was done by Watercolouring.

Then I realised that the Thankful Garden Bundle actually has masks.

Which means, the first attempt at this card had the floral arrangement done with a Water Painter.

It was messy and didn't look good at all, there was no consistency. I think you have to be really good at Watercolouring to get the right look spot on. Which I am not.

So the card sat on the table for I don't know how long and everytime I looked at it, it bothered me. I knew I needed to fix it.

So the floral arrangement was carefully peeled off the card and I re did it. This time with the Masks.

I'm still not sure I've used the right pinks for it now but I'm not changing it again lol.

So the only watercolouring I have done is for the greenery, which was done by splashing the brush over some watercolour paper with some Granny Apple Green ink and then die cutting the leaves out. I've then come in with a Lemon Lime Twist Blend and highlighted some of the areas on the leaves.

Overall, now its fixed, I'm super happy with it.

Well this version is better than the first and I'm glad I fixed it.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.

All items used to make this card features below and all items are available for purchase from my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
