Sunflowers anyone?

There are so many things you can do with an Embossed image from an embossing folder so when the Sunflower Embossing was released, we all saw the possibilities.

I've seen so many colouring combinations done with this folder but I thought, once I actually had it in my hands, I would start with something real simple and go back to basics with this simple design.

I started with a soft colour combo of Smoky Slate and Lemon Lolly with touches of white.

I wanted the embossed images to be the main focal point so I  went on the hunt for a small sentiment.

 The Greetings For All Mix & match Ephemera Pack is perfect for what I needed.

Because of the sentiment I chose, I decided this would be an appropriate card for someone doing it tough.

I'm really happy with this card as it demonstrates that sometimes all you need to keep it simple is an Embossing Folder and a pack of Greetings and you can still have a beautiful card.......Card Making does not need to be difficult.
