More Washi

For those following along, you may remember, not that long ago (19th June to be precise)..so nearly a month ago, I shared a card made with the stunning Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

This is the second card I made at the same time, however I made a mistake BUT as it turns out, it really doesn't matter. Instead it has given the card a slightly different look, just by making one change.

Can you spot the difference from the first card?

I'll give you a hint.......its the Arch die.

The only difference between this card and the first is the way in which I have die cut the Arch.

The first card had the arch at the bottom, this card has the arch at the top and both looks work.

So for this card I have done the same and rolled out a full sheet of washi on some white cardstock and trimmed to a card front layer. Then I have cut another card front sized layer, die cut the arch with the Everyday Arches Dies and then embossed it with the Pressed Flowers Folder.

Some dimensionals added behind and then popped over the top.  The washi shows underneath with some die cut pieces of washi, using the coordinating dies from the bundle, added here and there randomly. A small stamped sentiment on some Basic Beige and done.

This card would make a beautiful Birthday or Mothers Day card as well.
