When I saw a card made by the team of Stampin Through the Catalog, I immediately fell in love.
I thought I had all the bits and pices to replicate it...however....I didn't. So I had to improvise.
I realised that this card used some of the die cut pieces from the Heirloom Arrangements Kit, of which I had used all mine making a pile of cards. Thats ok, just means I have to use something else.
The main reason for this card was just to use the Elements of Text backgrouond stamp. I love a small script background for a bit of interest.
I've used a few dies sets to get the die cuts I needed to add some interest over the top of the script piece and I'm really loving the colour combo on this one. Not colours I would have thought to pair together but it works in small amounts.
I will try another one of these cards with the correct elements from the Heirloom Arrangements kit when it arrives.
I distressed the edges all the way around the white layer with my finger nail, to rough up the edges and then I curled two corners ever so slightly.
I think one of my go to's at the moment is the Greetings For All Mix and Match Ephemera Pack, for when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to make too much of a fuss for a sentiment. Just pop it out of the sheet and pop straight on the card...easy peasy.
Considering I had to change this up a bit to get it to work, I'm happy with the result I look forward to sending it on its way to someone soon.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.
All items used to make this card features below and all items used are available from my online store anytime.
