Forever Plaid

Plaid is such a timeless design, no matter the season or the occasion Plaid just works.

I especially love it on paper but in an Embossing Folder, it's 

even more perfect for an easy background for any card.

This card was CASE'd straight from the online Stampin' Up! store. I love the sample picxtures they provide with products as they can be great for ideas when you're stuck.

I decided not to purchase the Reindeer Fun Bundle at first simply because we don't have Reindeer here, but I saw this card made with the other elements from the set so I caved and purchased it lol. It only takes one card right?

I did a watercolour splash on some thick white cardstock and just washed Old Olive from left to right with a Water Painter. Once dried, I laid the holly dies on top and die cut.

A piece of plaid like dsp, a piece of plaid embossed for a layer, a simple sentiment and voila!

I love this card and I look forward to sending it out to someone this holiday season.
