Nests of Winter

I'm always looking to keep a few Thinking of You cards in my stash for those unexpected occasions that arise when you hear sad news and want to send a card asap.

I like to keep them simple, nothing too flashy, soft and heartfelt.

When I first saw this paper I wasn't a lover and that's odd for me because I love my paper. Now I have seen so many gorgeous creations made with it I decided to grab a pack and this paper is perfect for this card.

I actually CASE'd this straight from the current Christmas Catalogue, you can find the original on page 30.

This paper pack really does have many gorgeous designs and this particular piece is perfect to suit the sentiment.

I chose to do the sentiment different on my version so I chose the Keeping Tabs dies to create the tab in the top right corner and I stamped straight onto it. I felt doing it this way meant there was more paper showing.

I used some small red embellishments (retired) to place randomly in the branches.

I think this one turned out well.
