I had some scraps on my table that I needed to use.
They were too good to throw out and I don't like waste, particularly if it's paper.
But they were odd bits and pieces so I really had to think hard on how to utilise them.
So this super easy card was born.
I actually had stumbled across something on Pinterest that was similar and I knew it was perfect for what I wanted to achieve. The simplicity of it jumped out at me. I just adapted the card to suit Stampin' Up! products as the one on Pinterest was created with other branded products.
This all came together so well. The piece of designer paper I wanted to use couldn't be too large because I had chosen a rather large sentiment to fill the bottom space of the card.
I pretty much turned that piece of dsp into a door hangar by die cutting a circle and then turning it sideways.
I popped it up on dimensionals and chose a small christmas tree die cut from some gold glimmer to place in the centre.
A small die cut sprig cut from cardstock and the card was finished.
I think this card is perfect for those on a budget with limited supplies. I've always said it and I will continue to say it, less is more. Cards dont need to be complicated with lots going on to be stylish.
