I made these a while back with my team, so whilst they aren't anything new, I'm still excited to share them.
I wish I could say I was clever enough to come up with these, however the ever so talented Patty Bennett (I'm a big fan) shared a video on her You Tube channel showing how to make these so I shared with my team.
The challenge was to convert them friom Imperial to Metric to suit our A4 sheets in Australia. Once that was done, they are really quite easy and we can get two to an A4 sheet!
I think the best part about these is that you can use ANY designer papers you desire to decorate and any decorative border die for the front flap, if you want to or you can even chose not to decorate the border at all. If you are going to use a decorative border die for the edge, it's better to cut this AFTER you have adhered the paper to the front flap.
There is plenty of room inside for a note card, maybe even some cash.
Here are the measurements:
Start with an A4 piece of cardstock
Cut it Landscape at 14.85cm, which gives you two even halves. Essentially a standard card base.
Score a piece at 8cm at one end, flip and score at 5 cm at the other end. Fold and burnish and adhere your shortest ends on the sides with Tear n Tape (its thin)
To decorate with dsp:
You need a piece at 14.85cm x 8cm
A smaller piece at 14.85cm x 5cm
Insert size: 13cm x 7cm
Dress as desired.
