These are not traditional Christmas colours nor are they colours I would have ever thought to put together for anything, let alone a Christmas card.
However, WOW it works!
I CASE'd this one straight from Stampin' Up! One of their very clever designers who make the samples put this together and I'm glad they did.
I fell in love with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks when the came out in this years Christmas Catty, but when I opened them I went straight to the Sunflower Layering Masks and the background masks never got a look in.
Until I saw this card and I thought it was a beautiful way to show that particular background mask.
I've applied the ink with a blending brush all over and even though it's not even, I like that look, where it's lighter in some spots and darker in others.
I really love this one and I'm so looking forward to sending it out this holiday season.
