Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Recently I was approached by one of the lovely ladies in my local Lifeline store, Barbara, who asked if I would make her dear friends a fancy 50th Wedding Anniversary card.

Of course I said YES! I was honoured that she asked me.

So I set about coming up with a layout as I had already chosen the colour combo.

Lets face it, fora Wedding, Engagement or Wedding Anniversary, I think White and Gold, or Pearl and even Vanilla tones are always fancy and very elegant.

I was keen to use the Pierced Blooms dies before they retire and thank goodness I kept the Large Number dies for the 50. Ive actually used these a few times recently for number specific occasions so Im really glad I broke my rule and kept these when they retired.

The Gold Specialty sparkly paper was a must for the numbers so they could be the focal point.

Ive layed out the centrepiece on a sticthed rectangular piece and Ive used Shimmery White Cardstock for that piece and the card base, as well as the pierced blooms.

The sentiment has been stamped in versamark and embossed in Gold powder then....wait for it.....fussy cut..... YES fussy cut. I will do it occasionally, but not often lol.

Then the blooms werefinished off with some Brushed Metallic dots, they were the right size and right tone to match the numbers.

Barbara was very happy with the card when it was delivered during the week and she's excited to give it to her friends next month. She said there is nothing better than handmade,

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. All items used to make this card feature below and are available from my online store anytime.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
