Happy 50th Birthday!

A past work colleague reached out recently and asked if I would make a 50th Birthday Card for her sister.

I immediately lept into action and went straight to Pinterest of course for ideas and I found something I was pretty happy with.

I did change a few things and tweaked it to make it my own design and this is the finished result.

I had to resort to using some retired items as well as current so it's a mix of everything.

I knew the Large Number dies were a must, that's one of the reasons I hung on to them when they retired, just for cards like this milestone. I also wanted to use one of my fave colours, Purple Posy, however I didn't have any card left but a Hello Daysie Team Member came to the rescue and gave me a few sheets to work with.

The brief was the numbers on the front, some purples, bling and some flowers.

Think I nailed it.

I was originally going to use an Embossing Folder for the Smoky Slate layer but then came across the Stitched Greenery die at the last minute and changed my mind.

The Numbers are dies cut from the Rose Gold specialty paper for a bit of bling.

Lisa is really happy with it and is looking forward to giving it to her sister on Saturday.

I will list the Retired Items seperately.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today. Current items only used to make this card feature below and are available in my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
