I just wanted her to know I was thinking of her and well as it turns out, I'm in the biz of making cards so this called for a card.
A small gesture but it can mean so much and I'm hoping it brightens her day.
I have used the stunning Layered Leaves Bundle from the new 2020 Holiday Catalogue thats just released.
This suite reminds me of Autum, it has such soft tones. For the splatter effect in the background, I have just placed a drop or two of the Sahara Sand ink on a clear block and picked it up with the fine tip on a Water Painter and then tapped it across my hand so it splattered on the card.
The lines running down and across the bottom were scored on using the Simply Scored Scoring tool.
I love the simplicity of this card.
