Using up scraps

Recently I came across these gorgeous cards made by Cindy Schuster, of Netmeg Creations in the U.S.

It is such an amazing way to use up your scrap pieces of card stock...but it would also work with Designer papers too.

Its so simple yet creates such a beautifully bright and cheerful card and you don't need to be a master card maker to make these. Plus they take no time at all.
The hardest part is deciding the colour combo! lol

Here is what I came up with

This card is so versatile!
For starters, you can choose ANY colour combo you want, you are not limited by the colours you use. Come up with any rainbow that makes YOU happy.
Also, it can be for ANY occasion...just change up the sentiment. You can make it a birthday card, thinking of you, get well soon, valentines day, thank you...anything!

My card base is an A4 piece of cardstock, cut at 4" 1/8 portrait, creating two even halves then scored in the middle.
My strips of coloured card stock are 3.5" x 1" each.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my simple card today.
A full list of items used to make this card features below and all items are available from my online store.

Until next time
Happy Stamping! (tap tap tap)
