Tranquil Tulips

There is only one thing about this time of year I DON'T like.......the stamp sets from the current Annual Catty that are retiring!! Some of them are my absolute faves, some of them I purchased and thought "yeah I will use that" and actually never once got it inked.

Todays stamp set is one of those. Its a beautiful Hostess Set called Tranquil Tulips. You don't see the Hostess sets being used very often and when I was going through all my sets to seperate going and staying, I came across this one and realised in a whole year, had not once used it.

So I changed that and decided to make a card with it before it goes forever and I let it go to a new home.

This set is a two step set, meaning you stamp one image first before overlaying another image on top.
This make the Tulips look the way they do and I'm in love!
I cant believe it took me so long to use it and that I had never stamped with it before now.

Some of you, those with OCD like me, will have probably noticed its not quite centered on this card, looks like I was a little too far to the left, however I might just get away with it.
The simplicity of this card meant I only needed to use two ink colors and I kept it really simple as I wanted the Tulips to be the focal point.

I'm going to miss this stamp set when it retires on June 1st.
But I'm positive there are many more in the new annual catty that will become new faves.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today.
A full list of items used to make this card features below and all items are available from my online store.

Until next time
Happy Stamping! (tap tap tap)
