After scrolling through Pinterest recently looking for inspiration for my Washi cards, I got a little sidetracked (as you do) and found many other cards I loved that I wanted to CASE.
This was one of them. I'm unsure as to who made this originally and the original was not made with Stampin' Up! product.
So when I CASE'd it, of course I converted it into a Stampin' Up! card and I'm really happy with the result.
The original didn't have the Foil Snowflake for the background....I added that at the last minute as I felt the background needed a little pop. It would also look lovely with a Gold Foil Snowflake.
The original also didn't have the holly. There was another embellishment in its place, of which I can't remember now, however when I placed it on the card before adhering everything down, I liked the look so it stayed.
I have also adhered the sentiment on the Old Olive flagged piece with a staple using the Stampin' Up! stapler. This is now retired but you can use any office stapler.
I think the first thing that grabbed me about this card was the color combo. Its not a combo I would have thought of for Christmas but I really like it.
I'm definitely leaning toward the unconventional for the holidays.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my project.
A full list of items used to make this card features below and all items are available in my online store.
Until next time
Happy Stamping! (tap tap tap)
