From our family to yours

At the moment, I am absolutely LOVING some particular cards that Mary Fish from Stampin' Pretty in the U.S. has made.
These card highlight the gorgeous foil card stock that Stampin' Up! sell and when they are paired with basic colors, they are stunning. These foils seem to be extremely popular for Christmas cards which is a nice change from the traditional red and greens. Not that there is anything wrong with those colors as I still use those for my cards.

Based on another card I have CASE'd (Copy and Selectively Edit) of Marys..this card came about

The foils are to die for and when punched out and mixed together.....oh my goodness!
So this card came to mind after I CASE'd the infamous Wreath Card made with the new Leaf Punch that Mary made only recently.
So I thought well, this time I wont do a wreath and I'll use a different leaf.
I liked the affect that this arrangement was simply along a wall.

Then I just stamped a really simple sentiment as to not take the focus of the foil leaves and the end result was this.

Then about half an hr after finishing this card I decided to add the Black Rhinestones.
It's the smallest introduction of another color but it seems to work.

I love how this card turned out. Its not too busy but pretty and I think it makes a lovely Christmas card.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my project.
