Merriest Christmas Wishes

So I'm on the Christmas Card making train and chugging along quite nicely (pardon the pun) lol.

I love the look of a watercolor wash background so that inspired me to create this.
However, the card is a bit rough, so I'm not entirely certain I'm pleased with it.

For starters, because I have used regular card to do the water coloring rather than watercolor paper, and then stamped and embossed over the top of that, when I have used the heat gun to set the embossing powder, it has warped the paper, so the white piece doesn't sit flat on the Old Olive layer.

Then it seems even after replacing my trimmer blades, I still have some rough edges on some of the card. There is also a small section on the card where the embossing powder hasn't quite "gone off" properly and I can see it and it bothers me!

All that aside, I'm happy with the color combo and the layout. But I do question whether I should have stamped the Christmas tree in the bottom right...so many decisions lol

So if I were to make this card again, I would change a few things for sure.
However, it's all learning and in this case I have learnt what not to do.
Whether I give this card out at Christmas time though remains to be seen.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card. Even if it isn't quite right!
