Recently while scrolling through Pinterest...(as you do), I came across a color combination that I immediately loved.....Copper, Crumb Cake & Whisper White.
So it then gave me an idea for a christmas card..using those colours.
Off to the craft table I marched.
Luckily Stampin' Up!® have a range of Copper products...perfect for my project.
Here is what I made:
I love how the Copper looks with the Crumb Cake..
I have used the Copper Foil sheets for the background piece layered on the Crumb Cake base, layered a piece of the Copper trim on top of the Burlap Ribbon and used small strands of the Copper Thread behind the whisper White piece.
Then I have embossed the stamped image with Copper Embossing Powder.
I LOVE how the Copper embossing powder looks finished.
I think if I were to make another one of these, I might try running the piece of Copper Foil through the Big Shot with an embossing folder to lift the background.
