You may have just come from the previous person or you may be starting here at my blog Michelle Mills. If you lose your way and get off track, there is a full list of this hops participants further down the post.
I hope as you hop around you find lots of ideas and inspiration for your projects.
For this hop, our special international guest is Shannon Lane of
As always, we get to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) the guest.
I chose this project of Shannons to CASE
So bright and cheery...it caught my eye straight away.
Plus it reminded me Valentines Day is just around the corner...so I stayed with the Love theme.
Here is my CASE
This was such a fun card to make....and its not the original card I sat down to make either!
It took a few different layouts before I finally got the one I liked.
I also didn't start with this colour combo...I just couldn't get the original colour combo to work and when I was flicking through my cardstock, these colours were all stored together.....so I just picked them all up, layed them all on the table and started from the base and worked my way up.
I'm also excited that the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies are back in stock and they really give a lovely finish to small accents on cards.
I wanted to stick with the same theme as Shannon has used so I used the same Bundle. One of my favourites. It pairs nicely with the Stitched Shapes.
This isn't a layout I would normally go for however its good to step outside of the box and mix it up a bit.
I also got to break out the Heat Tool and embossing powder for this one to emboss the heart in white. Then I layered the Basic Grey piece on dimensionals.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my project. be sure to keep hopping all the way through to see all the other amazing creations.
A big thank you as well to Shannon for hopping with us.
A list of the supplies I used to make this card features at the bottom of this post.
Until next time
happy crafting (tap tap tap)
