Thank you for joining us for another Crazy Crafters August Blog Hop.
If you haven't joined us before, Welcome!
You may have just come from the previous person or you may be starting here at my blog Michelle Mills. If you lose your way and get off track, there is a full list of this hops participants at the bottom of this post.
I hope as you hop around you find lots of ideas and inspiration for your projects.
For this hop, our special guest is U.K. Demo Sarah Berry of
www.stampwithsarah.co.uk
As always, we get to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) the guest.
I chose this project of Sarahs to CASE.
and here is what I came up with
I loved the simplicity of the layout with a feature piece up the top and in the middle and a simple sentiment below it also centered.
With that in mind to recreate, I used my fave technique for the background - watercoloring with the Aqua Painter and just changed the feature piece up a bit by using a different die.
I do like the Swirly Die set and haven't used it nearly enough.
But it looked quite baron just on its own.
I then had the idea of adding a small center piece to the Swirly accent from the Paisleys & Petals Bundle from the new Holiday Catalogue.
I don't usually use dies from two different sets on the one card, however, I think it has worked this time.
I'm really happy with how its turned out.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my project.
Below is a list of materials I used to make this card.
Until next time
