Watercolour Ombre Congrats

Recently I saw a fantastic You Tube tutorial from Sarah-Jane Rae over at Cards and a Cuppa
on how to produce this gorgeous background effect on your cards.

I fell in love with the technique and now I think I'm addicted to watercolouring.
What I love about it: there is no right or wrong when you watercolour.
The end result is different every time. So you can't really make a mistake.
I can't believe its taken me this long to step out of my comfort zone and try something new.
So of course I had to CASE the original.

I made this particular card for one of my Hello Daysie team members, Kayla, who advanced to Bronze Elite recently.

This technique along with the floral die overlay really makes this card elegant I think.
I was so happy with it when I made it and Kayla loved it too.

Here is the video

The card looks as though you have spent a lot of time on it but it's actually very easy.
Why not break out some of your favorite colors and give it a try.

Below is the list of Stampin' Up! supplies I have used to make this card.

Until next time
Happy water coloring
