The Crazy Crafters October Blog Hop

Thank you for joining the Crazy Crafters blog hop this month. We hope you will enjoy your virtual tour as you hop through all of the blogs and find inspiration and get some new ideas.

This months theme..."CASE from Pinterest". How exciting! It's actually more of a challenge because the hard part was just deciding what to CASE. There is so much to chose from.
But this time, I actually had an excuse to scroll through Pinterest for hours as it was "research"!

But I didn't have to look far! This particular project jumped out at me. Using my favourite colours together with a beautiful layout and design, I knew this is the one i would try.

The original was made by Inge Groot at Stampin Cards and Memories.
I just LOVE this card. So i sat down for a few hours and came up with this

I didnt want to make it exactly as per the picture but i have used the same colours and layout and design. Obviously its a bit hard to gauge the exact sizes of everything so when CASEing you are doing a lot of eyeballing. My background splatter is a bit heavier and I haven't embossed my blue circle in the background. I also chose not to use the pins as I dont see any purpose for them and also anticipate the card may be a little hard to get in an envelope with those sticking out.

Looking at it now, I have realised I have made another creation I can use for any occasion.
Thank you for checking out my project. Below is a list of the items I have used to make this.
Until next time

Next in our blog hop is Karen Coulter

  1. Definitely a card for all occasions. I just love the hanging look of the feathers, they remind me a bit of eucalyptus leaves I've gathered as a reminder of home whenever I've lived overseas,

  2. Beautiful card Michelle!

  3. Beautiful, Michelle! I have this card pinned to CASE at some stage; love what you've done. :)

  4. Love the masculine look this card has. Lovely!! And you used my all time fave set here too! Gorgeous Grunge!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. You have made my day!
