April Blog Hop "Masculine"

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for April! You have reached the final stop, #13 on the hop and you should have just come from Deborah Raymer at Debz House.

Our theme this month is "Masculine", suggested by our host Nicole Spicer.
Making cards for men is challenging. They arent really into bling, butterflies and flowers!
I like earthy or regal tones when doing masculine cards and I like to stick to my moto which is "keep it simple".
So here's what I came up with.

When I layed the squares flat on the card, it just didn't look right, so a few dimensionals later and they pop off the card. I think it gives the card a bit of depth and dimension.
I just used paper snips and a bit of guess work to create the "banner" that I have stamped "dad" on to.
There is silver card behind the white layered embossed piece, just to break it up a little. The silver I have used was a non stampin up item. (sshhh don't tell anyone)!
My dad is really the only man in my life that i make a masculine card for and I think he would like this one.
