NEW Velvet Meadow!

Mothers Day is almost upon us here in Australia, it's this coming Sunday May 10th.

So we should all be thinking of getting those special cards done for our mums and possibly Mother In Laws.

 

If you are looking for a simple non stamping card, this is perfect.

I wanted to make something simple to demonstrate that Mothers Day cards don't have to be overly complicated to achieve something pretty.

 

So I went straight to the NEW Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP.

This paper is "Flocked" meaning it features a raised velvet-y or suede like pattern. Its beautiful and because the paper does the work, all you need is a sentiment and some bling.

For this one, rather than stamp the sentiment, I chose to use the Mini Alphabet Dies to spell Mum in coordinating cardstock and then I adhered those to a small Every Day Arches Die and placed it along the top in the area that needed filling in.

A few Antique Pearls to finish off and what a pretty card for mum.
