My Monthly Card Challenge for my team during September was a One Sheet Wonder.
I wanted to encourage them with a challenge that would help them use up some of their papers and get the most out of a full sheet of 12" x 12" dsp.
We have so many gorgeous papers and with Christmas coming up, it was a great throwdown.
I always participate so I made these.
A One Sheet Wonder is also great for bulk cards because if you trim them right, you can get at least 9 cards out of a single sheet of 12x12 with no waste.
It's really easy with the measurements. Just trim your 12x12 firstly to 4" strips, you will get 3.
Then you can cut those 3 strips at any measurements you want to create the card fronts for your cards. You may even get more than 9.
Then to decorate. I kept them simple as I was using some items left over on my table.
However for quick sentiments and LOTS of them in one go, I chose the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I had seen a technique online that I hadn't done for a while so I grabbed that folder, inked it up on the inside, then placed the dies and cardstock in and ran it through the machine.
You end up with Embossed sentiments that are outlined with ink which makes them pop AND they are die cut out at the same time!
I added some coordinating ribbon and finished off with some odd die cuts that were sitting on my table.
I chose not to add bling as the dsp I chose is busy and does all the work.
I'm really happy with these and they were made in no time.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my cards for today.
All products used to make these cards fetaures below and all items are available for purchase from my online store.
Until next time
Happy Stamping!
