Stained Glass Butterflies

I must admit, I really wished I had thought of this, it's so simple and so easy.

All you need for this look is a nice big bold stamp, some Momento Ink and three or four of your favourite colours in Blends markers and you are set.

I CASE'd this from Julie Baca of Sunny Day Stamping in the U.S.

I love her work because her stuff really is simple and fuss free making for enjoyable stamping.

Making this card reminded me that I just don't stamp enough or use my Blends enough.

After stamping the butterfly in Momento ink (very important when using blends with to colour), I used Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Darling Duckling and Azure Afternoon blends to colour it.

Then I stamped the dots in Darling Darkling around the sentiment for a bit of decoration.

The white piece is layered on a Black Mat which is then layered on a Highland Heather Card Base.

I decorated the inside too

I thought stamping Happy Birthday inside pairs with with the sentiment I stamped on the front.

Such a simple card all about the simplicity and colour! If you really like colouring and like to colour for a bit of therapy then this card is for you. The best thing about this card is that you can make it any colour combo you wish.

I'm really happy with this card and I look forward to sending it to someone soon.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card for today.

All items used to make this card features below and items are available for purchase through my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
