Thankful Garden

My neighbour contacted me about 10 days before Mothers Day and asked for a custom card.

She wanted a card for her sister-in-law, whom her daughter and grandson live with who call her "Aunty" to give her for Mothers Day, except it had to say "Happy Aunties Day"

I loved that I could make a special card for her.

So I made this

I CASE'd the layout from Stacey Marsh from the U.K.

I've used Secret Sea for the base colour and that Corrugated Embossing folder would have to be my fave at the minute.

The Thankful Garden Bundle comes with a set of layering Masks as well meaning it's super easy to line them all up and colour the large floral image, then die cut it with the coordinating dies.

I filled in the bottom part with some green foliage to sit behind the sentiment which was made using the Mini Alphabet Dies.

Admittedly I lined up the letters by just eye balling them however, yes I should have used a ruler lol.

I'm really happy with this card and my neighbour loved it. I hope "Aunty" did too.
