Reindeer Days

I know we don't get Reindeer here in Australia which is a reason why I shyed away from buying this set when it first came out.

However, thanks to Pinterest, I've seen many cards pop up on my feed that have used the non reindeer elements from the Bundle and the dsp.

This one in particular which was originally made by Helene den Breejen of the Netherlands.

I love this card purely because it's so chritmassy!

It's quite simple to put together too. The only part that took a little time was the word dies.

I cut the letters needed in Old Olive Glimmer and then adhered them to some white cardstock, using a ruler as a guide to keep them straight. Then I took a pair of scissors and fussy cut a shadow around the letters. I need practise but it's not bad.

Even though we don't sell vellum anymore, I still have some in my stash and I pull it out every now and then to use. It's needed on this card to break the busy-ness of the background dsp.

I'm so happy with this card, it's been received and she loved it.
