Team Challenge

The creative challenge I set for my team this month was this super easy Fun Fold.

Now as far as I know, it doesn't have an official name, I have heard it's a simple Double Z fold.

It's another great card to show off and use up some of the designer paper.

Fun story...I actually had NO 12" x 12" dsp from the christmas catty to make this card! Out of all the dsp I have stashed in the studio, it's all 6" x 6" which isnt big enough, so make sure you have a spare sheet or two of 12" x 12" to start with.

So I had to go to the Online Exclusives box and I found a pack of the Tartan Foil, which I've stashed because its great for Masculine cards.

I also thought this colour appropriate for Christmas.

I didn't want the paper design to be too busy anyway because I wanted to dress up the accent on the front using a bundle.

Just note when cutting your dsp, the pattern is directional so pay attention to which direction its going when cutting.

Start with a single piece of cardstock for the base and cut that at 10.5cm x 14cm. You will use this piece to attach the dsp fold to.

Then cut your dsp to 12" x 4". This size means you get three of these strips from one full 12x12 sheet.

Then score that at 2 1/2" x 6 3/4"

Adhere your dsp fold to the base and now you are ready to decorate however you desire.

Simple hey?

I love this fold as it's something different and adds an element of interest for the person receiving it.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today.

All items used to make this card features below and all items are available from my online store anytime.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
