Frames & Flowers

Pocket Cards...Yay or nay?

I know they aren't everyones cup of tea but I personally love them.

They are just something a little bit different from the traditional card, not to mention they are great for popping cash in or a gift card.

There are so many things to love about making these...for starters, you can use ANY pretty designer paper and make one of these for any occasion. They would make perfect Christmas gifts that could be hung from the tree. Fathers Day in Australia is only a week away, they would be perfect for dad, made with some masculine themed paper and pop a Bunnings Gift card inside. You can use any side of the dsp as well, so this pocket card is a great way to show off papers.

There is plenty of room to write a message on the white insert that slides in out of the pocket. You can leave it blank or dress it up with some stamped images or even a stamped sentiment.

I chose Frames & Flowers DSP pack for this one because I wanted to try this colour combo, which I love.

These pocket cards have never been easier to make than with our Pocket Thoughts dies. The die will fit perfectly on a sheet of 6x6 with little waste. No working out measurements and converting from inches to centimeters. One die and you are done.

The Frames and Flowers pack also comes with a few sheets full of very pretty die cuts that you can juist pop right out of the sheet and adhere straight on to your project like I have done.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card for today. All items used to make this pocket card features below and all items are available from my online store anytime.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
