I do love a good shopping trolley, particularly when it's full of Stampin' Up! products!
I fell in love with this bundle when I first laid eyes on it. It's a fun set and let's face it, this set is going to be appropriate for any occasion you give a gift, that's lots of them.
So when I saw this card, the original made by Amy Koenders in the U.S. I just had to CASE it.
However.............
So I thought I would be clever and make a few changes from the original which is what CASE-ing is all about, however now I have some remorse with doing so.
But this is how you learn right?
Amy stamped her images in the trolley in Momento Black ink, meaning those images had a defined outline. I thought I would be clever and stamp them in the new Basic Beige. It definitely doesnt give them defined outline which is why I think they look a bit weird. Plus I am not the worlds best colourer and they are small images to colour but they all have coordinating dies so there is no fussy cutting involved.
I die cut the trolley from Champagne foil which is retired but you could cut it from any coloured foil. Amy actually die cut hers in Gray cardstock which also looked great.
I have used another new product which I'm very fond of, the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder, It's perfect for fun backgrounds.
I think I will have another go at this card and make it the way I should have to begin with.
I'm still happy with it (sort of lol) and I do look forward to sending it out to someone soon.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today. All items used to make this card feature below and are available from my online store anytime.
Until next time
Happy Stamping!
