Recently I discovered that my local Councillor asked his partner Alison, on Christmas Eve, to spend the rest of their lives together.......and she yes!
I'm so happy for them both.
Now Im not one for politics however Jon works hard to look after our community and he is running a campaign to become Mayor of our city in the next elections.
Because he lives just up the end of the street I thought I would make an Engagement Congrats and then pop it in their letterbox for a nice surprise.

For this card I got to break out the very elegant Lifetime of Love Bundle from the new mini catty and I CASE'd Melody Hyde of Stampin Through The Catalogue.
Melodys original is just stunning and I in no way did it justice as I had to make a few tweaks from the original.
Melody had die cut some letters to spell LOVE and placed those in the middle, however with my placements of the floral images around the outside, it left me little room to do the same so I had to come up with a plan B.
YES I fussy cut!!! Don't get too excited lol
I love the colour combo for this card, so elegant and fancy and I made sure to add a touch of gold sparkle with the embellishments. I also lightly spritzed the finished card with some shimmer spray to give the whole card a subtle sparkle as well which can't be seen all that great in the pic.
I'm still really happy with it and I hope they liked it.
