Tartan Foil

I don't know about you, but I LURVE Tartan Foil and who would have thought that it's actually perfect for Christmas, even in non traditional colours! So when I saw this made by Stampin' Up! I thought "What a perfect christmas card"

Now if there is one thing I could change about these cards if I were to make them again would be the way I have done the trees. I learned that for the tree die cuts to line up, you need to be very aware of which side of the paper to die cut on. So its best to flip the paper over BEFORE die cutting these tress rather than after, hence that's why they don't line up.

Other than that, I love all the three colours: Lost Lagoon, Pebbled Path and Copper Clay. The background is easy to create, just apply the ink lightly straight from the ink pad with a blending brush just roughly. I am still happy to send them out this festive season.
