Thinking of You

My friend and team member lost a family member recently and I wanted to send her a card to let her know I was thinking of her.

When making Sympathy/Condolence cards, I really like to keep them simple because I just dont think its appropriate to make a flamboyant card for such a sad occasion. Its not about the card as much as it is the sentiment inside. When sending condolences, you want them to be soft, warm and loving and want to reflect this in the card.

I saw something similar on Pinterest and knew I could replicate it. Plus it was the perfect opportunity to ink up the Fresh Cut flowers stamp set and use the coordinating dies for the first time to go with it.

I also dabbled in a bit of colouring for this image using a Sponge Dauber for the centres and Blends for the leaves. I really love the Dots & Spots Die for the background and once cut, I had all of these little dots all over the table but not all of them fell out, so the ones that stayed in, stayed there and made a nice addition to the background.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. All items used to make this card feature below and are available from my online store.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
