Tea Cups of Love

I was devestated and shocked when I heard of the Queens death.

I have only ever known of one monarch my entire life and I must admit I had never given any thought of what it would be like when she was gone. She was just one of those icons that we expected to be there forever. 

So just before her funeral, it occured to me that I could send the Royal family a handmade card to express my condolences. Being english I thought the Cup of Tea Bundle would be very appropriate. I do believe the Queen would have enjoyed a nice drop of Tea with a marmalade sandwhich.

I paired this bundle with the Sun Prints papers in one of my fave colour combos, Sahara Sand, Basic White and Night of Navy.

While I had this bundle and papers on the table, I decided to convert this card into several different Birthday cards for Team Members during October.

I've kept with the same layout and design but just changed up each one with a different piece of patterned dsp.

The floral overlay on the tea cup is my fave element of this bundle and it really is pretty in any colour combo.

I'm really happy with these cards and I hope the Royal family liked the card I sent.
