Wonderful World

When I set out to make this, I really had no idea what I was doing, I just wanted to make a simple clean birthday card with what I had in front of me so I was making it up as I went.

I'm really happy with the end result considering that this wasn't what the intention.

I started with a different colour combo as I was working with the Wonderful World Designer Papers.

Some of the patterns are quite busy and the original pattern I chose was actually the reverse side of the yellow stripes. However when I layed it out, it was too busy with the pattern and then the Floral Postage Stamp. I flicked the piece of designer paper over to pop on the adhesive and when I saw the yellow stripes, the entire card looked different. It looked exactly what I was trying to achieve. So I set about changing the colour combo to suit the stripes and the card was born.

I'm really loving that Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and the floral image I have punched out comes from a sheet of the Wonderful World Papers.

Then the sentiment is from..you guessed it..Charming Sentiments, it's so easy to work with.

Thank you to my friend for teaching me how to tie a double bow for the Linen Thread.

Thank you for stopping by today to check out my card. All items used to make this card are featured below and available from my online store anytime and the Wonderful World Papers, which also comes with a coordinating stamp set, are still available to redeem for FREE on a quaalifying order through to August 31st.

Until next time

Happy Stamping!
