Cajun Craze Challenge

Every month, my team and I challenge each other to step outside our comfort zones a little and do something we normally wouldn't do. This can be anything from a colour combo, to a technique to using a not so popular stamp set.

In December, the challenge was to use in any way, the not so popular colour Cajun Craze.

It doesn't get alot of love and it's not one I reach for at all.

So, we could make anything, as long as we used some Cajun Craze 

I was actually very pleasantly surprised at how pretty a colour it really is. Particularly when its paired with the likes of Misty Moonlight, Sahara Sand and a dash of white.

Ive used a piece of vellum to add some softness, a really pretty background script stamp from the Very versailles set and the gorgeous new Blessings Of Home set for the floral image. 

It turned out better than I thought considering I was really stuck and had no idea what to make.

So even though you have your favourites, never write off the ugly duckling, it may just surprise you.
