Fussy Cutting!

Now anyone that knows me knows that I DO NOT like to fussy cut.
One, I'm not good at it and two I don't have the patience.

So when I decided to make this card, I really stepped out of my comfort zone.

I just love the size of that flower in the Beautiful Day Stamp Set however I quickly realised that if I wanted the flower on its own on the card, it would require fussy cutting.

As you can see I have done my best and by my standards its passable but clearly I need some practise.

This is the first time I have used the Petal Garden designer paper, its so pretty and overlayed with the vellum on top helps to soften the busy pattern. I have popped the flower up on dimensionals to give it some depth against the paper.

I have grown to love the Calypso Coral and Old Olive combination when colouring with the Blends. They go so well together and how can you not love those word dies?
I think my colouring is improving.

Finished off with a Gold Faceted Gem of course and this makes for quite a pretty card.
I'm pleased with it.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today.
