On Monday this week, I did a live video on my face book page Hello Day Cards where I spoke of my Stampin' Up! news for March.
PLUS I drew the winner of the monthly draw for February. The winner won the beautiful all inclusive Lots Of Happy Card Kit from the Occasions catalogue (p15) valued at $61.00.
The lucky winner of this prize was Zona, a wonderful customer of mine and I was so chuffed when she won it. I always make a card to go with the prize to send to the winner and this is what I made:
This is actually a CASE from Pootles in the U.K.
However, when Sam made this, this was a small gift box.
When I was watching the video, I knew I could turn it into a card instead.
It's such a simple card to make! You don't need many supplies at all really.
I fell in love with the colour combo which is what attracted me to the box and I also don't use Very Vanilla alot so it was a nice change from white.
Plus, what a fantastic use of those buttons! They go so nicely with those colours. Masculine buttons paired with feminine soft colours...who would have thought?
I love the Linen Thread touch as this helps to break up the background a little.
