I was so excited when Stampin' Up! released a second batch of free sale-a-bration items.......especially when one of them was the stunning Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Papers.
This paper on any card is the main feature, so you can get away with a very under embellished card as you want the paper to be the main focus and really stand out.
I used some vellum for the background this time to soften the starkness of the Night of Navy card base. The original plan was to overlay the vellum on the paper, however that threw out my whole design and it didn't look right.
I needed some simple embellishments so I chose the Natural wood elements rather than something blingy as there is plenty of bling and shine in the paper pattern.
I added some of the Glitter and Clear epoxy shapes just randomly on the leaves of the wooden flowers, to give the look of a single water drop.

Plus, I finally got around to embellishing the envelope with the same paper so they are a matching set.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today.
